Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Dobermans that we are able to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home.
Our Mission is to attract and secure a ‘safe, forever home’ for each rescue in our care. To date, in excess of 650 dobermans have been cared for through the efforts of Dobie-Rescue North Florida, Inc. The long-time friends of Dobie-Rescue have made all of our successes possible by sharing their time and personal resources to the committed goal of saving doberman lives and to the quest of locating loving forever homes.
Nineteen dobermans were taken into our care in one day April 26, 2006, all originating from Birmingham Alabama. The nineteen adult dobermans were seizures by authorities from a squalid Alabama doberman puppy mill. Our ‘Doberman Safe Haven’ has been the temporary home to Florida Dobermans and to the many originating from other states including Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Louisiana.
Dobie-Rescue North Florida, Inc. is a non-profit endeavor. Rescue work is voluntary and not performed to profit any individual or group.
